Order process

It is quite easy to participate on our online quest "VEXIER". All you have to do is buy mask pixels and let us know, where you want us to erase them from the mask layer. Just follow these initial steps:

Important Notice: Contributors agree to the following: Any recourse to courts of law is excluded. Please read our "Conditions of Participation" and our Terms of Payment.

1. Think twice where you strategically would like us to erase the pixel block(s) and how many you want to buy.

The costs are exactly 1 USD per pixel.
Since the smallest area, which can be exactly selected in the 'Pixel Space', is a pixel block of size 10 x 10 = 100 square pixels, the minimum stake for participation is 100 USD.
This is the real size of one pixel block:
Only multiples of a pixel block can be bought, if you decide to get more then one.

2. Please use our Paypal button for payment ...

... and provide us with the following information:

Number of items (pixels blocks) to erase. One Item = 10 x 10 = 100 pixels.
Coordinates (x,y) of the upper left corner of each pixel block to be erased (see coordinate system).
Your name and address.
Your E-Mail-address.

Due to different time zones (UTC +/- 12h), there might be a delay in processing your order of up to 12 hours.

Confirmation:

After payment, you will receive a confirmation E-mail along with a ticket-number that we have assigned to your purchase. Please keep this receipt safe, because it makes you eligible to claim your winnings. Without presenting this receipt and a copy of your ID (passport or personal ID), we can not pay out winnings. As soon as a participant sends us the right solution, the online quest is over, and the ticket number of the winner will be published by us on the page "Game Over" (at his own request, the winner's name may be published as well).

Submitting of solutions:

You may send us your solution(s) any time along with the ticket-number(s) (1 ticket-number for each pixel block) to the following e-mail address: solution[at]vexier.com.
This procedure ensures that those participants who erase (buy) pixels in the beginning of our quest are not put at a disadvantage. Based on the ticket-number, we can identify how many times you can send us a solution. The pixel blocks (if you buy more then one), don't have to be contiguous to each other. If you do not want to buy several pixel blocks at a single blow, you can always repeat an order (as long as there are any pixel blocks left) several times.
